High Performance & Research Computing

ITS’ High Performance Computing group implements, sustains and supports HPC platforms at Mines, made available to Mines faculty and students whose research efforts require HPC systems. The group strives to inspire Mines’ HPC research community with leading edge HPC resources, innovations and knowledgeable and experienced staff, and thrives on helping scientists do their science such that research goals are attained as efficiently as possible and the vision of Mines@150 strategic plan is achieved.

ITS’ High-Performance Computing group maintains various HPC (“supercomputer”) resources and offers support for Mines faculty and students using using HPC systems in research efforts. The goal of the service is to help scientists do their science through the application of HPC.
